                            Brendan Conway


 Brendan Conway performs extensively in Washington DC, New York, and abroad.
In 2000 Brendan presented a solo program at the “Young Virtuosos 2000” gala
in Moscow, then returned to Russia for a series of recitals at the Rachmaninoff International
Festival. As a member of the Perlman Music Program, Brendan has played numerous times
with Itzhak Perlman in the Mostly Mozart Festival at Avery Fisher Hall and for the “Live from
Lincoln Center” broadcast by PBS. He has given solo performances at Carnegie Hall, the
Kennedy Center, the Embassy of Canada, Lincoln Theater, at various local venues with
regional orchestras, and New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.

Brendan has won many regional competitions, including the Virginia Concerto Competition,
Russian American Music Association Young Soloist Competitions, and the Interlochen Arts
Camp Concerto Competition. In 2004 he was the youngest competitor at the Premio Paganini
Violin Competition in Genoa, Italy, in 2005 competed in the Jean Sibelius International Violin
Competition in Helsinki, Finland, and in 2006 was a semi-finalist of the Montreal International
Music Competition.

In addition to his solo work, Brendan is an avid chamber musician. His piano trio won the
silver medal at the 2002 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and was twice featured
as Young Artists at the Menuhin Chamber Music Festival in San Francisco. He recently participated
in the Internationale Sommerakademie f? Kammermusik in Frenswegen with esteemed professors
such as former violist of the Vermeer Quartet Richard Young, cellist Stefan Metz and Eberhard Feltz,
professor of chamber music in Berlin and mentor of world-renowned quartets such as Quatuor Eben.

Brendan finished in February of 2011 his Master’s in Musik Degree in Cologne under Viktor Tretiakov.
Before moving to Germany, he studied with Vladimir Landsman at the Universit?de Montr?l and
Ricardo Cyncynates, Associate Concertmaster of the National Symphony Orchestra. He has also
extensively worked with Stefan Milenkovich, Patti Kopek, Pinchas Zukerman, and Itzhak Perlman.
