"Music of the Angels"
PERFORMERS
Sheldon Lampert
Sheldon Lampert (violinist and violist ) was
born in New York City and is a graduate of The High School of Music and Art
in Manhattan. Following graduation from the Curtis School of Music in
Philadelphia, he performed with the U.S. Army Strings,then joined the
National Symphony Orchestra,
from which he recently retired after 40 years of service. With his wife
Marilyn, a cellist, he is active in the Kennedy Center's In Schools Ensemble
Program in Washington, DC. He teaches at his home studio in Alexandria and
continues to enjoy making music with friends.
