Mila Naumova,

Mila Naumova was raised in a family of generations of
renowned musicians in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ms. Naumova began
studying the piano at the age of 7 at the specialized Music
school “Liubomir Pipkov” in Sofia with concentration on
piano.
In the United States, Ms. Naumova pursued a Master’s degree
in piano at George Mason University with professor Anna
Balakerskaia. She was awarded the C. Cook scholarship
award, played in “M3E”, a modern music ensemble, and founder
of “Musica Pulchra”, a renaissance and baroque chamber group
that performed yearly.
Since her graduation from George Mason University,
Ms. Naumova has been performing solo and chamber music
concerts in the Greater Metropolitan area and teaching
piano. She is a performing member of the Friday Morning
Music Club, and since the Fall of 2010, she has been the
organizer and frequent performer of Music with the Angels
music series on 1611 16th St, NW DC. |
